I kissed a squirrel and I liked it..........
So another Lazy Bear Weekend has come and gone. Every time I post about a Lazy Bear I say it's the best one yet. And this year truly was the best one yet. There was a few rough spots. Most before getting even getting up to there!
Steven had given me a check to deposit so I was going to do that after

roamingcub and I loaded up the car. Only problem was that when I tried to deposit the check at the ATM I couldn't find my ATM card!
So I came home to find it and when I couldn't I headed to Steven's bank to cash the check and take all that money up with me to Lazy Bear. Only problem with that was that my CA ID card had expired back in April so I was unable to cash the check.
So then it was back to my place to tear up the bedroom to look for the ATM card while on hold with my bank. I was about to head down to Steven's work to get cash from him when the lady on the phone told me that my ATM card was at the Castro branch which is where I used the day before and apparently left it behind.
So after getting that whole fiasco taken care of and I was finally able to stop freaking out,
roamingcub and I went to Burger King to grab a bite to eat before meeting up with the guys to load up the Uhaul.
After gathering up the troops and laoding the Uhaul it was off to Guerneville! And once we got there it was unpacking, setting up tents and buying some food from Safeway. So nothing too exciting happened that night other than dinner and campfire chatter.
But the next few days were pool parties, dances, drinking (lots of drinking) and hanging out at the camp. There was also a house party thrown in there. I think that was Thursday night.
And now for the highlights I do remember
I remember Friday was Shane Day. That was the day
kevin_v5's boyfriend Shane came up. He brought along
gregorbehr as well just so I could get more Fat Boy grief.
roamingcub and I spent the day shouting "Happy Shane Day!" I'm sure Kevin would've been annoyed if he wasn't so eager about Shane coming up.
Friday was also dancing day. We first went to Bearracuda but the place was hot, sweaty, smelly and the the music sucked so I went outside to get some air. As I walked over to Yamagata to check out the dance there my friend Sean who was standing outside grabbed me and dragged me in and the music was way better! So I went back to Bearracuda and told the guys I was heading back to Yamagata and they came along as well. So the rest of the night was spent dancing on the dance floor to good music and good friends.
Saturday was the pool party of
squalidbear and
sgtchuck. This year
roamingcub drove so I didn't have to do the uphill death march. OMG! I think it was the heat or something but I got drunk fast. Upon getting to the campsite I took a nap, ate dinner, then joined up with
roamingcub at the Rainbow Cattle Company.
After lounging at the RCC for a bit we went to Yamagata but the place was packed so we headed over to RRR which was doing some event you had to pay for so we just went back to the campsite and hung out in the tent since everyone else was already in bed.
Sunday was the big Sunday Furry Sunday party. A blast from what I could remember of it.
Monday was the tearing down of the campsite and heading home. Of course upone arriving back in SF the first place
roamingcub went to eat was McDonald's.
